Hiya!
I’m John, an easy going photographer living in Margaret River. Family is everything to me, I love the adventures that I share in the South West with my wife Shannon, daughters Lily and Summer and son Felix.
We live on a hectare of land which is a short stroll through the forest to Margaret River. We love nipping down there for swims with our dog Jabba who is a “mad as” kelpie.
It’s a major passion of ours to live self sufficiently. Nothing beats cooking up a meal from veggies you have grown in your garden, it just tastes better. A bit like when someone makes you a sandwich for lunch, it’s yummy as!!
The ocean is our playground and my day always starts with some form of contact with the water, whether it’s hitting a 4WD track for a surf, checking the cray pot or swimming at Gnarabup.
Photography has been awesome to me. I have been commissioned to photograph some heroes of mine like Jamie Oliver and Eagles coach Adam Simpson. I have held multiple exhibitions in London, Paris and Prague as part of a project for Ford motor company. My clients include Schweppes, Absolute Vodka and Accor.
Creating an unforgettable experience is critical
People look amazing when they are having a great time. Having a personality that can make everyone enjoy being in front of the camera is an essential skill for a wedding photographer . My extensive experience delivers a seamless and stress-free experience on your big day.
As an organized and calming influence, I work diligently behind the scenes to ensure your wedding day flows effortlessly, allowing you to savour every precious moment. I bring a friendly, easygoing vibe to the photography experience, transforming it into one of the highlights of your celebration.
From calming nerves to evoking natural smiles, I take pride in curating an environment where authenticity thrives. Your love story deserves to be captured in its purest form, your wedding photography experience becomes not just a service but a cherished memory in itself.
Over a twenty year professional photography career, I have lost count of how many people I have photographed that have pre warned me that “they hate having their photo taken” and every one of those people have excitedly told me what a pleasant surprise their experience was, “it was actually so much fun!”.
