Their beautiful modern spacious restaurant can host up to two hundred and fifty seated guests or four hundred cocktail style. The floor to ceiling glass windows over look the stunning lake which is bordered by immaculate landscaped gardens and native forest.
The high ceilings, stonework feature fireplaces and gorgeous interior design are a wonderful foundation to style your dream wedding.

Black Brewing Co also offer beautiful intimate weddings in their tasting room to weddings of around fifty to eighty guests.
I love the combination of stonework from locally sourced granite quarries and modern architecture for their tasting rooms and reception space. Wedding photography in the South West tends to be more about the beautiful outdoor surroundings. The Black Brewing Co also offers you some lovely architectural photos.

The bride can arrive and approach her ceremony starting point without any concerns that she will be seen by any of her wedding guests. As you can see in the photo below, the groom and guests are hidden away in a beautiful lawned area surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Black Brewing Co have clearly put a lot of thought into the design of the ceremony site on their property. The bride and groom and their wedding party stand on a lovely clean and safe decking. Behind them is a lake, the tree line reflects into the water giving it a mirrored look. It’s hard to think of a better wedding photography backdrop, this setting is well thought out wedding perfection.

Easy to capture natural photos of your wedding guests during your ceremony.
This photo shows the whole decked ceremony space at Black Brewing Co, as you can see it’s a really nice large area which brings many benefits to the ease of your wedding experience. If you find it hard narrowing down your bridal party list you have space for a large group.
Looking back in the direction of your wedding guests their is a large lush green lawn to accomodate as many chairs or benches as you wish. There is also plenty of space for people to stand at the back and the sides if needed.
Why I love photographing weddings at Black Brewing Co.
As a wedding photographer I love wedding venues that allow me to capture all the natural emotions freely and without fuss. I do not want to block a wedding guests view or be the centre of attention. So I particularly appreciate the space that I have to photograph in at Black Brewing Co. I am able to photograph all the important essential photos and also anticipate and photograph natural moments like this one of the brides family laughing.
Having plenty of space to move around in allows me to capture really nice natural moments like this during your ceremony without blocking views or distracting attention from important moments during your service.
Black Brewing Co offers a unique contrast of modern architecture to your photos that compliment the natural backgrounds really well.
Again, due to the room to move I was able to photograph a lot of awesome natural wedding photographs of the guests.
Natural wedding photographs like this one are a big part of my wedding photography style, I was able to capture this moment while kneeling down during the ceremony so that I was not obstructing anyone view. As you can see the views behind the wedding guests is also really beautiful with large local trees framing the photo.
Atmosphere and emotion.
I had room to photograph the first kiss and the bride and groom walking back through the wedding guests. Getting close to the action gives you a better insight into the feeling and emotions of the moment.
Guests can get nice and close to the action and feel a part of the wedding service, including throwing petals at the newly announced husband and wife.
At the rear of the ceremony area is a wonderful spot for your congratulations photos and also your formal family group photos.
Whilst photographing the family group photos I was able to also capture some fantastic natural photos of the guests showing their emotions.
Guests wait close by for their family photo and the close proximity gave me opportunities like this one of a Dad playing with his baby boy.
This photo is super cute but it also gives you a nice view looking back at the restaurant at Black Brewing Co.

At the rear of the ceremony lawned area is where I photograph your congratulations which is a wonderful time full of joy and emotion. I also photograph your family group photos and I start your bridal photos all here within the beautiful gardens at Black Brewing Co. This is incredibly convenient and massively improves your wedding day experience.
How Black Brewing Co benefits my natural wedding photography.
Allowing things to flow in one space means that your guest are not herded off because you need to get photos. Or another thing that happens is that you rush off “for photos” and leave your loved ones when they are feeling so excited and happy for you. Black Brewing Co allows for things to be more relaxed and enjoyable. I can photograph family photos and also some lovely natural candid moments of your guests all at the same time. Sometimes I feel like I have eyes in the back of my head but more realistically my experience now rewards me with the ability to anticipate natural moments and capture them whilst also photographing family groups.
Close proximity of locations improves your wedding day experience.
Back to that amazing lake for some beautiful photos of the bride and groom. It’s all set up with styles arbour so why not make the most of it heh. There are four main wedding photography locations that I love at Black Brewing Co. The lake, the gardens, the restaurants unique stonework architecture and the vineyards. All of these locations are lined up next to each other in the above order and it would take just four minutes for a bridal party to walk from one end to the other. Time is extremely valuable on your wedding day and having all of your locations so close, means you only need to be away from your guests having photos for forty five to sixty minutes. In that time you will have a variety of locations and a perfect blend of natural and directed wedding photographs.

As a wedding photographer, I have to produce a set of beautiful wedding photos in a short space of time. The gardens at Black Brewing Co helped me to achieve this with multiple backdrops all close to one another.
Bridal party photos in the gardens at Black Brewing Co
This line of small trees caught my eye. I love how they frame the people and there are no distractions in the background. Whoever landscaped the gardens at Black Brewing Co has a fantastic creative eye for composition, depth and light. The garden design is a combination of individual scenes that make the best wedding photography.
By moving in closer with the girls here, I created a more natural and fun photo of the bride with her bridesmaids but I didn’t need to move them from the full length photo I took before.

Forty metres walk and we are back to the ceremony location for some beautiful photos of the bride and bridesmaids in front of the lake and spectacular fountain at Black Brewing Co.
A slight change of photo style gives me a really nice reportage style photo taken as the bride and bridesmaids walk back towards the garden. This one compliments the more directed one I previously took.

Getting Kelsie’s dog to sit and look vaguely towards camera took some patience and some interesting but slightly troubling animal noises from me.
I absolutely love tree tunnels in wedding photos, those vanishing lines, the depth it adds and that beautiful dark green foliage makes the bride and grooms skin, dress and suit stand out.
The traditional stonework of the restaurant is reflected in large rectangular ponds that frame the modern architecture. A truly impressive feature at Black Brewing Co that is magnificent for wedding photography.
My favourite site for wedding photos at Black brewing Co.
Black Brewing Co created an impressive site for wedding photographs at the front of the restaurant. The stonework is art in itself, quite beautiful to look at, the stone is mixture of soft natural colours that are just dark enough for a white wedding dress to pop. By adding the clean modern rectangular ponds that are framed and divided by boardwalks, Black Brewing Co have made something very special indeed. The waters surface reflects the stonework with an immaculate mirrored reflection. Extremely aesthetically pleasing, this is area blows my creative mind. You could use this space for any number of photo shoots and it would be magazine cover material, for me, it’s the icing on the wedding photography cake.
Documentary wedding photograph bridesmaid laughs with bride.
Thirty two wine barrels mounted and displayed on what is a spectacular feature wall gives every bride and groom at Black brewing Co some amazing wedding photo opportunities.
Vineyards are just metres away for some romantic bride and groom photos.
This photo shows the close proximity of the vineyard which is an entirely different location for wedding photographs. Wedding venues like Black Brewing Co, that offer variety like this and convenience are worth their weight in gold.
See how the landscape design is so clever at Black Being Co. By adding boardwalks that divide the ponds, I was able to direct the bride and groom to stand in the middle of sections of water and create beautiful reflection photos like this really easily.
Pre dinner drinks overlooking lake
Whilst the staff at Black Brewing Co completed setting the tables, I was able to easily blend in with the wedding guests during pre dinner drinks and photograph some lovely natural moments. The bride and groom were in the tasting room freshening up so they didn’t see their guests having all this fun. I love to capture as many moments like this for my clients to remember what it was like.

Large wedding reception space, inside the restaurant at Black Brewing co
The restaurant is bright with amazing lake views, inside the space is styled with warm large light bulbs that hang across the ceiling.
This long dining table was provided and styled by Yallingup Event Hire and the flowers were from The Dreamer and Collector.
The view from the bridal table overlooks the three long dining tables which run down to the band and dance floor area. It shows how large the space is inside the restaurant.

The large rectangular space at Black Brewing Co is well suited to long dining tables to seat your guests.
As you can see there is a lovely perspective created with the long dining tables leading your eye done to the dance floor and feature stone fire place.
Photographing the fun and laughter during wedding speeches at Black Brewing Co.
As you can see I was able to take some lovely natural photos of the wedding guests having fun and enjoying their evening at Black Brewing Co. The positioning of the tables allowed me enough space to move about discreetly and capture these candid moments.
The staff at Black Brewing Co were fantastic at making sure everyone had their drinks topped up and they were awesome at keeping the night flowing to schedule. The food was amazing!
Black Brewing Co restaurant is warm, inviting and atmospheric.
This wide angle photo shows the entire restaurant with wedding guests seated and walking around enjoying their evening. I love the finishing touch that the lighting has created, it adds a beautiful atmosphere to the reception space.
It’s fun capturing all the little moments like cutting the cake, this cake was a collection of tiered cheese so Jedd and Kelsie really had to put some effort into cutting it. I love their expressions.
Organising a band to play at your reception at Black Brewing Co
To complete the wedding story, the first dance and ensuing mosh pit of dance crazed wedding guests piling onto the dance floor is a wonderful way to finish up. Just before it gets really messy.
Black Brewing Co has a nice space for a band to set up and perform right next to the dance floor.
As you can see the wedding guests really enjoyed Emily Joy’s performance. Dancing while holding a beer and not spilling it over your wedding suit is a skill worth mastering.
